As an instrumental player within Polk Institute, I’ve shared these thoughts, “because you have the idea or patent that’s only part of the equation.” I have seen patents destroyed. And this is only part of my discovery along the way of my professional life. I’ve understood that change is like water, air, and food, you can’t live without it, you must embrace it. Learn to be a positive professional role model. Learn that it’s the process not the people, as quoted to me by Miguel Dalmau. Learn if you wish to be a successful entrepreneur, manager, technician, etc. it shall take leadership.

- Southern California Criterium bicycle racing champ, consecutive wins.
- As president of SBPA helping others to transition into the next professional career.
As one of the Directors of PI I always embrace the opportunities to share with the PI family that it is, “yes you can” and be coachable. Believe in you as the way gifted to you and receive which is given to you by others for consideration because it just maybe the pivot needed.
I am often reminded by situations that appear, with the quote, “THE BEST TEAM WINS”. And there is no other feeling than to win, hands/arms raised upward into that familiar V-shape of victory, YES!
