Women’s Pitch Event – Recap

We are very excited this year to have a new location (AltaSea), a new sponsor for this event (Beneficial State Bank) and an Amazing Key Note speaker that will knock your socks off! Kat Taylor, If you haven’t heard of her, you will at this event!

She will be speaking on the topic of Leadership, and she knows a lot about it. Kat is not only an awesome person, she is the Co-Founder and Chair of the Board for Beneficial State Bank. She has spoken to many audiences AND is multitalented (I can’t tell you now, you will have to RSVP and see…) 

Let’s not forget about the pitch portion… Come see 5 finalists that our staff will be choosing to present their business to everyone. Whenever we have our pitch events, the competition gets harder and harder to choose, we don’t know who they are but expect to see Women Power on Oct 18th.Everyone is welcome to join in the fun!Women are invited to apply to pitch!

Mid-June 2022 Pi Cohort Spotlight

This month we will focus on our new Legacy Cohort Members Antonio and Heather Appling, Co-CEOs of The Nest Tambien Restaurant in Bellflower, CA. The Nest: Tambien opened June 2021. Yes, you read that correctly. Building out the space during 2020 was no cake walk and opening during 2021 had its own set of challenges; but The Nest: Tambien is well on its way to becoming a neighborhood favorite.
